Caught Red-Handed Tyre Thief Arrested at Wernhil Mall

A suspected thief was swiftly apprehended by City Police officers at Wernhil Park Shopping Centre on Tuesday after allegedly attempting to steal a tyre from a parked bakkie.

The incident occurred during a routine foot patrol when officers noticed suspicious activity near the vehicle. Upon closer inspection, the suspect was reportedly found in possession of the tyre he had just removed.

Police acted immediately, arresting the individual at the scene before he could flee. The stolen item was recovered, and the suspect was taken into custody for further investigation.
