Authorities in the Kavango West Region have opened an investigation following the discovery of a crocodile carcass in Bunya village, where parts of the animal were removed without legal authorisation.

Police reported that the crocodile was allegedly killed illegally. Initial findings indicate that the brain, gall bladder and a portion of the tail had been taken before officials recovered the remains.
