Four-Year-Old Boy Injured After Alleged Hit-and-Run in Groot-Aub
A four-year-old boy was injured in a vehicle-related incident at Groot-Aub on Saturday afternoon, 3 October.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 13:30, when the child was allegedly struck by a vehicle in the Groot-Aub location.
According to the police, the driver did not remain at the scene after the incident and allegedly fled. However, investigators have indicated that the driver is known to them.
The case has been registered as reckless or negligent driving, as well as failing to ascertain whether a person had been injured or whether damage was caused following an accident.
