A young girl is safe after narrowly escaping an attempted abduction near Moses Garoeb Primary School in Windhoek on Tuesday, prompting a police investigation.

Namibian Police spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, reported that the child was followed by a white seven-seater vehicle from the Havana area along Monte Cristo Road.
