Kavango West Woman Dies After Falling From Moving Vehicle

A tragic incident claimed the life of a 32-year-old woman in the early hours of Friday after she fell from a moving vehicle at Kakoro Village in the Kavango West Region.
According to the Namibian Police in the region, the woman was travelling in a red Toyota pickup when she allegedly fell out while the vehicle was in motion.
Police spokesperson Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga stated that the driver is suspected to have been driving recklessly or negligently and was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.The driver, a 33-year-old man who reportedly did not possess a valid driver’s licence, has been arrested.
Police further indicated that the suspect was in a romantic relationship with the deceased.
The victim was identified as Secilia David. Her body was taken to the Nkurenkuru Police mortuary for a post-mortem examination, and her family has been notified as investigations continue.
