Police allege that the man circulated handwritten notes containing threatening messages, warning the prosecutor to leave Grootfontein “before the same incident that happened in Ondangwa happens to him.”

The notes were reportedly left at several locations across town, including the Grootfontein Police Station, the Criminal Investigation Unit offices and a local guesthouse.
