Man in Critical Condition After Pen Stabbing in Otavi, Suspect Arrested

A 37-year-old man is in critical condition following a violent incident in which he was allegedly stabbed in the neck with a pen during an altercation at the Harambee location in Otavi on Saturday.

According to reports, the victim was discovered unconscious after the attack. Emergency services rushed him to Otavi Health Centre before he was transferred to Otjiwarongo State Hospital for specialised medical care.

The suspect is said to have fled the scene immediately after the incident but was later apprehended by police. He is currently in custody at the Otavi Police Station.

Authorities have confirmed that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
