Manhunt Launched After Man Allegedly Kills Brother in Gobabis

Police in the Omaheke Region are searching for a man who allegedly fatally stabbed his brother before fleeing the scene in Gobabis.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon at around 17:05 in the TransNamib Railway area. According to police reports, the confrontation involved two brothers identified as the late Alouis Axab Ganeb and the suspect, Romario Ganeb.
It is alleged that the two became involved in a dispute over ropes believed to have been stolen from a truck. During the argument, Alouis reportedly produced a knife and threw it onto the ground. Police say the suspect then picked up the knife, pulled out another knife he had concealed in his trousers, and stabbed his brother once in the neck.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident and is believed to be in hiding. Police have cautioned the public that he should be considered dangerous, as he reportedly left the area armed with two knives.
