N$62 000 Worth of Property Stolen in Swakopmund Armed Robbery

Property valued at about N$62 000 was stolen during an armed robbery at Desert Boutique in Swakopmund on Friday afternoon.

According to the Namibian Police weekend crime report, the incident occurred between 13:00 and 13:15 when a suspect entered the business premises and threatened the victim with a firearm. The suspect reportedly made off with various items, including clothing, cash, mobile phones and personal documents.

No arrests have been made so far, and none of the stolen property has been recovered. Police investigations are ongoing.
