Ondangwa Resident Dies From Injuries After Violent Robbery

A man from Ondangwa has died following a brutal attack that took place during a robbery earlier in the week, police have confirmed.
The deceased, 42-year-old Nathanael Mbonge, died shortly after 01h00 on Wednesday morning in the Omakulukuma area of Oluno. According to authorities, he never recovered from the injuries he suffered during the assault.
Police reports indicate that Mbonge was attacked on Sunday, 16 November 2025, when four unidentified men allegedly ambushed him, beat him, and fled with his cellphone and wallet. He was left injured at the scene and later succumbed to the trauma caused by the assault.
Investigators say no suspects have been arrested yet, and efforts are underway to trace those responsible. Mbonge’s family has been informed of his death.
The police are urging community members with any information to come forward as the murder investigation continues.
