One Arrested, Three at Large After Stock Theft at Okahandja Farm

A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stock theft incident at a resettlement farm in the Hochfeld area of the Okahandja District. Police have confirmed that three additional suspects are still on the run.
The incident reportedly took place on Friday at around 18h00 at Uitkoms Resettlement Farm near Hochfeld. Authorities say livestock was stolen from the farm, prompting an investigation that led to the arrest of one suspect.
The arrested man is expected to appear in court on charges related to stock theft. Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt for the remaining suspects believed to have been involved in the crime.
Stock theft continues to pose serious challenges for farmers in rural areas, affecting livelihoods and agricultural production.
