The Namibian Police Force has recovered stolen merchandise valued at more than N$100,000 following the arrest of two women in Okuryangava on Thursday evening.

According to Chief Inspector Katrina Naukushu, head of community policing in the Khomas Region, the suspects—aged 30 and 20—were apprehended after being found in possession of a large quantity of goods allegedly stolen from Mr Price, a popular retail clothing store.

Authorities are continuing investigations to determine whether the duo is linked to a broader shoplifting syndicate. The recovered items are currently being catalogued as part of the evidence collection process.

The police have urged businesses to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities promptly to help curb retail theft.
