Police Investigate After Naked Woman’s Body Found Behind Outjo Municipal Houses

Police in Outjo have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a young woman’s body behind municipal houses in the town early on Saturday morning.

Outjo Police Station Commander Harry Hoaeb confirmed that the deceased was found naked and is believed to have been assaulted with a stone. Her clothes were discovered rolled up next to the body at the scene.

The woman’s identity has not yet been established. Her body was transported to Outjo Hospital for further examination as investigations continue.

Police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in identifying the deceased or shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the incident to come forward.
