Security Guard Injured in Armed Robbery at Katima Mulilo Service Station

A female security guard was injured this morning during an armed robbery at a service station in Kamunu Village, Katima Mulilo.

According to police reports, three armed suspects stormed the premises and fired shots at the floor, one of which struck the guard in the leg. She was later taken for medical treatment.

The suspects allegedly stole N$18,949.70 before fleeing the scene. The cash till was later discovered abandoned near the shack dwellers’ area, with only N$55.20 remaining inside.

Investigators followed footprints believed to be those of the suspects, leading them in the direction of the Macaravani West location.
