Seven-Year-Old Girl Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle Near Divundu

A tragic accident claimed the life of a seven-year-old girl at Shadimbungu village near Divundu on Friday afternoon.

According to the weekend crime report, the incident occurred at around 15h00 when the child allegedly ran into the road and was struck by a Nissan Hardbody bakkie. The impact resulted in fatal injuries, and the young girl died at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that the next of kin have been informed about the tragic loss.

Police have since opened a case and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are ongoing.
