South African Police Bust Suspected Multimillion-Rand Drug Lab

According to eNCA and other South African media reports, police discovered a suspected multimillion-rand drug manufacturing laboratory in Swartruggens, in the North West province of South Africa, leading to the arrest of 11 suspects, including four Mexican nationals. One of the Mexican suspects is reportedly a woman. Authorities believe the operation may be linked to an international drug trafficking syndicate.
South African police have arrested 11 suspects following the discovery of a suspected drug manufacturing laboratory in Swartruggens, North West province. Among those arrested are four Mexican nationals, including one female suspect.
The operation was carried out by members of the South African Police Service and crime intelligence units. Authorities believe the clandestine laboratory was being used for large-scale drug production, with investigations now focusing on possible links to international drug trafficking networks.
The suspects are expected to appear in court as investigations continue.
