According to information presented in court, Seibeb allegedly bypassed security checkpoints and gained access to State House on 30 April. It was further revealed that he had previously been admitted to the mental health unit at Windhoek Central Hospital, but reportedly left the facility without formal discharge.

The court was informed that Seibeb has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. The prosecution requested that the matter be postponed to 22 June 2026 to allow for a psychiatric assessment to determine his ability to follow court proceedings.
