A suspect has been arrested in connection with the alleged slaughtering of a pregnant cow at Divava village in the Mukwe Constituency, Kavango East Region.

The incident was reported over the weekend after the animal was allegedly killed without the owner’s permission. Police said the cow belonged to the complainant.

When the matter was discovered, only the cow’s head and the dead calf were reportedly found at the scene.

Police have arrested one suspect in connection with the alleged stock theft, while a second suspect, who has been identified, remains at large.
