Suspect Killed by Car While Fleeing Failed Robbery in Oshakati

A suspected robber was killed on Friday night after being hit by a car while attempting to escape from a failed robbery at a mini market in Oshakati’s Oneshila area.
According to the Namibian Police, the incident occurred at around 20:00 on Friday when five armed men approached the mini market and fired shots in an attempt to force entry. The suspects reportedly fled the scene after discovering that the shop was locked.

During the escape, one unidentified suspect ran across the road and was struck by a passing vehicle, dying at the scene.
Police later arrested a 41-year-old man in connection with the attempted robbery. He remains in custody, while three other suspects are still at large.
