Sydney Naruseb Turns Himself In After Allegedly Killing Partner Rachel Simasiku

Sydney Steven Naruseb, 44, has handed himself over to the police in Katima Mulilo after being wanted in connection with the death of his partner, 33-year-old Rachel Simasiku.
According to the police, Naruseb surrendered at the Katima Mulilo Police Station on Tuesday morning, bringing an end to a two-day search following the incident. Simasiku, a resident of Chotto location, died on Sunday night after sustaining multiple stab wounds to the face and head in what authorities describe as an alleged domestic violence attack.
The circumstances leading to the fatal confrontation are still under investigation. Police say Naruseb will remain in custody while detectives continue gathering evidence to determine the full details surrounding Simasiku’s death.
The case has once again raised concerns about rising incidents of domestic violence in the country. Authorities urge communities to report abuse early and seek intervention before disputes escalate to tragedy.
