Three Arrested For Livestock Theft At Okakarara

Three men aged 17, 25, and 33 have been arrested in connection with the theft of three Swiss breed cows valued at N$90,000 in the Okakarara policing area of the Otjozondjupa Region.

According to police reports, the incident occurred at Ongombombonde village between 23:00 on Thursday and 06:00 on Friday. It is alleged that the suspects cut through the fence of a small camp at a cattle post and drove the stolen cows on foot to Okarui village.

The livestock were later recovered after being positively identified by the owner. Police swiftly arrested the suspects following the recovery.

Investigations into the case continue, and the suspects are expected to appear in court soon.
