Elly Aron Launches Homecoming Programme Ahead of Miss World Journey

Miss World Namibia 2026, Elly Aron, has begun her homecoming programme in the Omusati Region with a courtesy visit to the Office of the Regional Governor as preparations continue for her journey to the Miss World pageant in Vietnam later this year.
Aron was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy Gaudentia Kröhne, members of the Miss World Namibia delegation, and her parents during the visit.
Miss World Namibia Director Andreas Robert said the visit was organised to celebrate Aron’s roots, as she hails from the Omusati Region, while also engaging with the local community ahead of her international assignment.
As part of the homecoming activities, the delegation will launch a campaign against teenage pregnancy under the theme, “Say No to Teenage Motherhood.”

The programme will conclude with a gala dinner aimed at rallying support for Aron before she represents Namibia at the Miss World competition in Vietnam on 5 September 2026.
