Miss Namibia 2026 Second Runner-Up Takes Break After Online Bullying

Miss Namibia 2026 second runner-up Albertina Haimbala has been granted time away from her official duties after facing online bullying following her second runner-up finish at the Miss Namibia 2026 pageant held in Gobabis.
Miss Namibia National Director Beaulah Boois-Beukes confirmed that the organisation remains in contact with Haimbala and is supporting her as she takes time away to be with her family.
The organisation condemned cyberbullying, online harassment and public shaming, emphasising that every contestant deserves respect, dignity and compassion regardless of the final results of the competition.
Miss Namibia further stated that all finalists have access to a dedicated life coach and psychological support to help them navigate the pressures that come with public life.
The organisation also urged the public, media and social media users to engage responsibly online, stressing that no young woman should be subjected to harmful comments or bullying on digital platforms.
