Miss Teen International Namibia 2026 Showcases Namibian Pride in Eagle-Inspired National Costume
Miss Teen International Namibia 2026, Chantel Boeren, has showcased Namibia’s national identity and cultural pride on the international stage with a striking costume inspired by the Namibian eagle.
Boeren presented the elaborate ensemble during the preliminary rounds of the Miss Teen International pageant in Jaipur, India, combining traditional Namibian symbolism with an intricate high-fashion design.
The costume is built around the image of an eagle, representing resilience, sovereignty, vision and Namibia’s aspirations.
At the centre of the outfit is a sculpted white eagle motif across the bodice, featuring a golden beak and detailed eye. Layers of textured white feathers create the appearance of eagle plumage before transitioning into brown feathers that form the wings of the asymmetrical skirt.
A prominent shield displaying the Namibian national flag is positioned at the waist, incorporating the flag’s blue, red and green colours alongside the golden sun. The emblem is surrounded by brown feathers and gold detailing, placing Namibia’s national identity at the heart of the costume.
The headpiece further strengthens the eagle theme, with Boeren wearing a tall golden sunburst tiara decorated with blue gemstones and feather-like details. A matching gold-and-blue necklace and a dark feathered shoulder collar complete the upper section of the ensemble, while a flowing white cape with gold edging adds a regal finish.
Boeren also carried a distinctive golden staff featuring a green-and-gold patterned crossbar and colourful tassels. At the top sits an eagle sculpture with outstretched blue, white and brown wings, symbolising leadership, vision and strength.
With poise and confidence, Boeren brought the elaborate representation of Namibia to the international pageant arena, giving audiences in India a visual presentation of the country’s national symbols and pride.
