Rundu-Based DJ Shaggy Na Beat Positions Himself as Namibia’s Next Big Name in Music Production

Siremo Erastus Munango, aka DJ Shaggy Na Beat, is steadily establishing himself as one of the most promising music producers and creatives in Namibia’s growing entertainment industry.
Born on 02 September 2000 in Rundu, the multi-talented producer has built a diverse career as a music producer, recording artist, graphic designer, and sound engineer. His versatility and consistency have earned him recognition within local music circles and beyond.
DJ Shaggy Na Beat rose to wider attention through the release of “Back Windhoek,” a collaboration with his record label partner Collins, which helped introduce his sound to a broader national audience.
His production portfolio includes several well-received tracks such as “Muzigida” by Tkb Yamukongo, “Kuwenga Wenga” by Blazza, and “Gakere” by Challo. These productions have contributed to shaping a unique and evolving Namibian sound influenced by both urban and cultural elements.
He is currently involved in the production of Challo’s upcoming album, a project that is expected to be released soon and is already attracting anticipation from fans and industry followers.
Beyond production work, DJ Shaggy Na Beat is the founder of Us Ghetto Sound Records, a record label dedicated to supporting emerging talent and contributing to the development of Namibia’s music industry.
