A 39-Year-Old Man Found Dead Inside His Rented House in Hochland Park
A 39-year-old man was found dead inside his rented house in Hochland Park, Windhoek, on Saturday morning after he could not be reached by phone.
Police said the man’s employee went to the residence in Riethaan Street at about 10:53 on 26 September 2026 after attempts to contact him were unsuccessful.
The house was locked when the employee arrived and was opened with the help of the caretaker.
According to the police, the man was found inside the house with an open wound on his face. Blood was reportedly seen on the floor, bed and in the bathroom.
Police also found alcohol and medication inside the residence.
The man’s next of kin have been notified, while investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death and the cause of death are ongoing.
