President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah Extends Family Day Message to Namibians

President Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has extended warm Family Day greetings to Namibians, calling on families across the country to uphold values of love, unity, and mutual care.
In a message issued in observance of Family Day, which is recognised in many countries worldwide and grounded in Article 14(3) of the Namibian Constitution, the President conveyed her wishes on behalf of the Government and her family for peace, togetherness, and compassion to fill homes nationwide.
She emphasised that families are the foundation of a strong nation and encouraged citizens to use the day to spend quality time together, support one another, and remain attentive to challenges faced by family members. The President noted that strengthening family bonds through empathy and selfless care contributes directly to national strength and social stability.
She concluded by wishing all Namibians a meaningful and joyful Family Day.
