Swearing-In of Newly Elected Councillors Moved to 12 December 2025

The swearing-in ceremony for newly elected councillors in the Kavango East Region has been moved to a new date. The event, which was initially scheduled for 11 December 2025, will now take place on Friday, 12 December 2025, at 09h00 at the Kavango East Regional Council Auditorium.

According to a notice issued by the Rundu Town Council Chief Executive Officer, the adjustment was made after reviewing logistical considerations to ensure a smooth and well-organised ceremony for all parties involved.

The council acknowledged that the change may inconvenience some invitees and expressed appreciation for their understanding and flexibility during the finalisation of arrangements.
