Erongo Police Appeal for Help After 30-Year-Old Man Dies in Karibib

Police in Erongo are looking for public assistance to trace the family of a man who died in Karibib, identified as Sarenda Mbangu, aged 30.

According to Erongo Regional Police spokesperson Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula, the deceased was taken to the Karibib Clinic by a neighbour on Saturday, 20 December, at around 12:20 after complaining of feeling unwell and hungry. He reportedly died shortly after arriving at the health facility.

Police said attempts to locate and notify his next of kin have so far been unsuccessful, as their whereabouts remain unknown.

Anyone with information that could assist in identifying or locating the deceased’s relatives is urged to contact Detective Chief Inspector Patrecia Sabina Ockhuizen on 081 262 9584, Detective Inspector Shashipapo Muduva on 081 213 7799, or report to the nearest police station.
