A divorce settlement finalised in the Windhoek High Court has ordered well-known businessman David Sheehama, also known as Kambwa, to pay monthly child maintenance of N$30,000 to his former wife, Katrina Lugodhi Elifas.

The amount, calculated at N$15,000 per child, will increase by 5% each year. In addition to the maintenance payments, Sheehama is required to cover half of the children’s medical expenses and take full responsibility for their education costs, including tertiary studies if necessary.

The agreement clears the way for an uncontested divorce. Custody of the couple’s two minor children has been granted to Elifas, while Sheehama will retain reasonable visitation rights.

As part of the settlement, Elifas will also receive 35 head of cattle.
