Kasi Vibe Rebranded to MTC Kasi Vibe Festival After Major Sponsorship Deal

The Kasi Vibe Festival has entered a new era after MTC announced a major sponsorship agreement that grants the company full naming rights to the popular event. The festival will now officially be known as the MTC Kasi Vibe Festival.
According to MTC, the company has committed N$1 million per year for the next three years, marking a significant investment aimed at strengthening the festival’s impact on both local businesses and creative industries.
“Through this partnership, MTC is committed to adding value that opens doors for entrepreneurs and creatives. Our goal is to see the festival expand and eventually attract participants from across the region,” MTC’s Chief Brand, Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Officer, Tim Ekandjo said.
Ekandjo further noted that supporting the Kasi Vibe Festival is an investment in the ambitions of emerging and established entrepreneurs, as well as the country’s creative ecosystem.
Kasi Vibe co-founder, Salmi Shigwedha, welcomed the partnership with appreciation, describing it as a milestone for the festival. “Today is a historic moment for Kasi Vibe. We are honoured to officially welcome MTC as our new naming rights sponsor, an alliance built on trust, shared vision, and a commitment to empowering Namibia’s creative and business community,” she said.
In a statement, MTC said the sponsorship underscores its dedication to creating platforms that empower Namibian entrepreneurs and artists. “Through the sponsorship, we are proud to be adding value that unlocks more opportunities for the business community and Namibian creatives,” the company noted.
The new partnership is expected to elevate the festival’s reach, visibility, and economic contribution in the coming years.
