Lawyer Granted N$2,000 Bail in Alleged Shoplifting Case

Lawyer Eva Maria Nangolo was granted bail of N$2,000 in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on Friday after making her first court appearance on a charge of shoplifting.

Nangolo was arrested following allegations that she stole items worth more than N$3,000 from a shop in Windhoek’s central business district.

During her appearance, the court approved her release on bail while police continue with investigations into the matter.

The case was postponed to 21 June for further investigations.
