President backs youth entrepreneurship at MTC Kasi Vibe Festival

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has described the MTC Kasi Vibe Festival as an important platform that is opening doors for young entrepreneurs and supporting Namibia’s economic growth.
Speaking at the Brakwater Recreational Park on Thursday, the President said the festival reflects the goals of the Sixth National Development Plan (NDP6) by promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and opportunities for young people.
She said initiatives such as Kasi Vibe help empower youth, support local businesses and contribute to building a stronger economy.
Nandi-Ndaitwah officially opened the three-day festival by cutting the ceremonial ribbon ahead of the event, which runs from Friday to Sunday.
The festival is expected to bring together entrepreneurs, exhibitors, artists and thousands of visitors for a weekend celebrating business, innovation and entertainment.
