Security Guard Commits Suicide at Kavango West Regional Council

Kavango West, 28 December 2024 — A male security guard, identified as Kahutji Paulus Mpengo, reported tragically ended his life by shooting himself with a pistol on Friday while on duty at the Kavango West Regional Council.

According to Kavango West Police Regional Commander Commissioner Julia Sakuwa-Neo, the lifeless body of the deceased was discovered on Saturday morning. 

“The next of kin have been informed, and no suicide note was found at the scene,” she stated.
