Toddler Drowns While Trying to Catch Fish in Omusati

A tragic incident has shocked the community of Ohauhwe village in the Outapi Constituency after a four-year-old boy drowned in a water pond on Friday.
According to the Namibian Police in the Omusati Region, the young child allegedly fell into the pond while attempting to catch fish. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
Regional police spokespersons confirmed the boy’s death but did not release further details about the events leading up to the drowning.
