Unidentified Man Found Dead Along Outjo–Otjiwarongo Road

Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man whose body was discovered along the Outjo–Otjiwarongo road late on Saturday night.

According to preliminary information, an ambulance travelling from Windhoek to Outjo came across the lifeless body at around 22:50, lying on the sidewalk next to the roadway. Initial observations suggest that the man may have been struck by a motor vehicle.

No identification documents were found on the deceased, while some of his personal belongings were reportedly scattered along the road. At this stage, both the identity of the deceased and the vehicle allegedly involved remain unknown.

The body was taken to Otjiwarongo State Hospital for further examination as investigations continue.
