Woman Commits Suicide in Room She Shared with Boyfriend

Police in Keetmanshoop are investigating an incident that led to a woman taking her own life by hanging herself in the room she shared with her boyfriend.

The tragic event occurred in Kronlein on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at around 03:30 in Eastlyn Rylaan.

Authorities identified the deceased as 35-year-old Barnice Richardine Coetzee. A suicide note was recovered at the scene, and her next of kin have been informed.

An inquest has been opened, and investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding her death.
