Young Hero to Receive Free Lifeguard Training After Rescuing Twins

A young boy from northern Namibia who recently risked his own life to rescue twins from danger is set to receive free professional swimming and lifeguard training following his heroic actions.

The brave youngster has attracted widespread praise from the public, with many people describing his actions as courageous and selfless after news of the rescue spread across social media and communities.

In recognition of his bravery, Monarch Lifeguard and Emergency Services announced that it will officially honor the boy with a Bravery and Heroism Certificate, an award usually presented to trained lifeguards and rescuers who save lives.

Beyond the award, the organization has also offered the youngster an opportunity to join its beginner swimming lessons and later advance into the Junior Lifeguard Training Programme at no cost.

According to the organization, the opportunity is aimed at helping the boy strengthen his swimming abilities, learn professional rescue techniques and acquire first aid skills that could help him continue protecting lives in the future.

Monarch Lifeguard and Emergency Services said the young boy’s actions demonstrated remarkable courage, quick thinking and humanity, adding that his bravery has inspired many people across the country.
