African Stars part ways with head coach Agnus Elemu after cup setback
African Stars FC have confirmed the departure of head coach Agnus Elemu, bringing an end to his short but impactful spell at the club.
In an official statement, the club expressed gratitude for Elemu’s efforts, thanking him for his commitment and contribution during his time in charge, while wishing him success in his future endeavors.
Elemu joined African Stars midway through the season and played a key role in guiding the team to league glory, a turnaround that earned him recognition among supporters and local football observers.
However, the announcement of his exit follows the club’s recent defeat to Eleven Arrows FC in the Top 8 Cup, a result that has raised questions among supporters about the timing of the decision.
The club has not yet provided reasons for the separation or announced who will take over the head coach position.
