Bafana Bafana Delay World Cup Training Camp Trip to Mexico Over Visa Issues

Bafana Bafana have postponed their planned travel to Mexico, where they were scheduled to begin preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, after facing visa complications.
Several players are still waiting for their travel documents, which has prevented the squad from departing as planned. The disruption has temporarily slowed down their build-up to the tournament.
Reports indicate that the delay stems from an administrative error, with officials now working urgently to resolve the situation so the team can proceed with their camp.
Once cleared to travel, Bafana Bafana will base themselves in Pachuca, where they will train at the Universidad del Fútbol y Ciencias del Deporte and stay at the Camino Real Pachuca Hotel.
South Africa has been drawn in Group A of the tournament, where they will face hosts Mexico, the Czech Republic, and South Korea.
