Bush Bucks head coach Catch up with The Updated World Journalist Sibeso Masene after the historic NEFD promotion

Bush Bucks head coach Budstyn Mutau has expressed his delight after guiding the club to qualification for the North Eastern First Division, describing the achievement as a reward for hard work and determination.
Speaking after securing promotion, Mutau said he was proud of the team’s success but stressed that the club still has a lot of work to do before the new season begins.
“We are very happy to have achieved qualification for the First Division, but we know the real work starts now,” he said.
The coach acknowledged that the squad needs strengthening in several positions, noting that some players still lack confidence and experience. He said addressing these areas will be among the club’s main priorities during the pre-season.
Mutau confirmed that Bush Bucks will immediately begin preparations for the upcoming campaign as they aim to compete strongly in the North Eastern First Division.
He also praised the commitment shown by both the players and management throughout the season, saying their unity helped the team overcome difficult moments.
“I would like to thank our players and the management for standing together during challenging times. Their dedication and teamwork made this qualification possible,” he said.
Bush Bucks will now shift their focus towards building a competitive squad as they prepare for their debut season in the North Eastern First Division.
