Classic FC Celebrate Title Glory as Hardap Second Division Reaches Finale
The Hardap Second Division season officially came to an end this weekend, with teams completing their final fixtures and confirming the final league standings after an exciting campaign.
Classic FC finished the season as champions, ending a dominant campaign at the top of the table with 56 points from 22 matches, 12 points ahead of second-placed Airborne FC. The champions also recorded an impressive +54 goal difference, highlighting their consistency throughout the season.
Airborne FC finished as runners-up with 44 points, followed by Flying Eagles FC in third place with 40 points. Mighty United secured fourth position with 37 points, while Bee Bob Brothers completed the top five with 35 points.
The final weekend provided several entertaining matches as clubs looked to finish the campaign on a positive note.
Classic FC ended their season with mixed results, defeating Bee Bob Brothers 2-0 on Saturday before suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat against Flying Eagles FC on Sunday.
Airborne FC closed the season strongly, collecting maximum points from their final two matches. They defeated Latinos FC 2-0 before recording another 2-0 victory over Super Stars.
Flying Eagles FC also finished on a high, playing to a goalless draw against Namibian Strikers FC before beating the champions 1-0 in their final fixture.
Mighty United secured an important final-day victory, defeating Aranos Dream Team FC 3-2, while Tom & Jerry ended their campaign with a convincing 5-1 win over Daweb Stars.
