Dopolo also thanked the club’s management and technical team for believing in him and providing an environment where he could continue developing as both a player and a leader.

“Representing FC Ongos Sports Club has been one of the proudest moments of my football journey. The memories we’ve created, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the victories we’ve celebrated together will stay with me forever,” he added.

The defender joined FC Ongos after making a name for himself in South Africa, where he captained SuperSport United DStv Diski Challenge team and was part of the squad that won the 2022/23 DStv Diski Challenge title before the club later sold its status.

His move to Namibia gave him an opportunity to continue his football development, and he quickly established himself as a key figure in the FC Ongos setup.

As he closes his chapter with the club, Dopolo thanked the supporters for their backing throughout the season and wished FC Ongos success in the future.

“As they say, there are no goodbyes in football, it’s simply until we meet again,” he concluded.

Dopolo’s next destination is yet to be confirmed as the young defender looks ahead to the next phase of his career after a strong campaign in Namibian football.
