Julinho Athletic Seal Third Place with 4-2 Win Over Windhoek City in NFA Cup Clash
Julinho Athletic FC secured third place in the Women’s NFA Cup after a 4-2 victory over Windhoek City FC in the third-place playoff held at the Windhoek Independence Stadium.
Julinho Athletic delivered a strong attacking display, with goals coming from Julieta Berndt, Gloria Kasoma, and Victoria Kangandjera, while an own goal from Windhoek City also contributed to the final scoreline.
Windhoek City managed to find the net twice, but Julinho maintained control of the match to secure a deserved podium finish and end their NFA Cup campaign on a positive note.
Julinho Athletic get bronze medals and N$40,000 in prize money. Windhoek City SC finish fourth and take home N$20,000.
Attention now turns to the final, where Mighty Gunners FC will face Khomas Nampol FC in what promises to be a highly competitive showdown for the Women’s NFA Cup title.
