Kulisuka Palace FC Eyes Swift Return to North East First Division

Kulisuka Palace FC is on course for an immediate return to the North East First Division after producing an impressive campaign in the Kavango West Football Association Nampport Second Division League.
The youthful side currently tops the standings with 30 points from 13 matches, having recorded nine wins, three draws and only one defeat so far this season. Their attacking strength has been one of the major highlights, with the team scoring 35 goals while conceding just 13.
Since entering competitive football, Kulisuka Palace has quickly established itself as one of the rising forces in Kavango West football. The club made headlines in 2024 when it earned promotion from the Third Division and went on to win the Second Division title in the same year, securing a place in the First Division.
However, their stay in the higher league lasted only one season after suffering relegation. Now, the club appears determined to bounce back at the first attempt.
With several fixtures still to play, Kulisuka Palace holds a narrow advantage over Chief Sitentu FC and Young Western Fighters FC, who are both on 28 points and remain in close pursuit. KCR Western Stars FC is also within touching distance on 25 points, keeping the promotion race wide open.

At the other end of the table, two traditional sides in Kavango West football are facing serious relegation danger. Nankudu Eleven FC sits second from bottom with 11 points, while Kahenge Chelsea FC is rooted at the foot of the standings with just seven points.
Football supporters in the region have expressed concern over the struggles of the two clubs, both regarded as historic names in local football.
Nankudu Eleven FC has a crucial weekend ahead as they look to climb out of the relegation zone. The side is scheduled to face Mutororo FC on Saturday before taking on Young Western Fighters FC on Sunday. Positive results in both matches could significantly improve their survival chances.
