Michael Jonas partway with Eeshoke Chula Chula FC
Michael Jonas has confirmed his departure from Eeshoke Chula Chula FC after three successful years with the club.
The 19-year-old winger enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 season, finishing as Eeshoke Chula Chula’s leading scorer in the Namibia Premier Football League with 10 goals and four assists. His performances also earned him a senior national team debut.
Jonas joined Eeshoke Chula Chula in 2023 from Young Chiefs FC and quickly established himself as one of the club’s key attacking players.
Reports suggest the talented winger could be on his way to Khomas Nampol FC, although his next destination has not yet been confirmed.
With Jonas attracting attention at such a young age, many Namibian football supporters will be hoping to see him take the next step in his career by playing on the continental stage.
Namibia’s two representatives in CAF competitions this season, UNAM FC in the CAF Confederation Cup and African Stars FC in the CAF Champions League, could provide an opportunity for the youngster to test himself against stronger opposition if a move materialises.
