Namibia Names 43-Player Provisional Squad for 2026 U20 COSAFA Championship

Namibia will begin preparations for the 2026 U20 COSAFA Championship with a 43-player provisional squad announced by the NFA Youth Development Department.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Mauritius from September 18 to 29, with Namibia placed in Group A alongside hosts Mauritius, Seychelles and Mozambique.
The provisional squad features players from across Namibia, as well as several based abroad, with representation from Spain, South Africa, England and Australia.
Among the notable selections are Gerson Kangume of KK United FC and Hausiku Kamanya of Young Western Fighters FC, giving Kavango West two representatives in the squad. Kangume has previously represented Namibia at U17 level, while Kamanya enjoyed a strong season with Young Western Fighters.
