Obry Amseb Extends Stay at Gaborone United Following Stellar Performances

Namibian international Obry Amseb has earned a contract extension at Botswana giants Gaborone United FC after making a strong impact since joining the club in January 2026.
According to the club, Amseb has signed a new deal that will keep him in the famous red colours until the end of the 2027/28 season.
The former Young African FC attacker quickly established himself as an important player for the Botswana Premier League champions. In his first 10 appearances for Gaborone United, Amseb contributed six goal involvements, scoring once and providing five assists.

His performances also earned him a Player of the Match award in a league encounter against Jwaneng Galaxy in February.
His impressive displays helped Gaborone United successfully defend their Botswana Premier League title during the 2025/26 campaign, prompting the club to reward the Namibian international with a new long-term contract.
