Young Brazilians FC Part Ways with Coach Afrikaner After Promotion Success

Young Brazilians FC have officially parted ways with head coach Lionel Afrikaner after the club accepted his resignation following talks over a new contract.
In a statement, the club said both sides held constructive discussions aimed at extending his stay, but an agreement could not be reached on the conditions set for renewal, leading to his departure.
The club thanked Afrikaner for his professionalism and contribution during his tenure, highlighting his key role in strengthening the team and guiding their progress toward top-flight football.
“His leadership, experience, and work ethic have left a positive impact on the team,” the statement read.
Afrikaner, who joined the club last year, successfully led the Young Brazilians FC from Southern First Division Stream to the Namibia Premier Football League.
