Namibia U23 head coach John Sikerete has finalised his squad for the upcoming CAF Olympic Qualifiers, with the Junior Warriors set to begin their campaign against Angola in a two-legged first-round tie.

The first leg is scheduled for 28 September in Luanda, where Namibia will travel to face Angola before hosting the return match on 5 October in Botswana.

Sikerete has selected a 23-player squad featuring a mix of defenders, midfielders, forwards and goalkeepers, with several players drawn from the domestic football setup.

The team has been preparing for the qualifiers with a focus on improving tactical understanding, building team chemistry and ensuring the players are physically ready for the demands of international competition.

With qualification to the next round determined over two matches, Namibia will be aiming to produce a strong performance in Luanda and take a positive result into the return fixture in Botswana.

The Junior Warriors will now turn their attention to the opening encounter as they seek to progress further in the Olympic qualification campaign.
